The Beach Tag Office is now open for the 2015 season!

The Beach Tag Office, located inside the Welcome Center, is now open every day except Wednesdays. 

 2015 Seasonal tags are also available for purchase at City Hall, 4501 Park Rd Mon-Fri, 9am to 4pm.

 The Beach Tag Gift Certificates can be redeemed for 2015 seasonal beach tags at the Beach Tag Office.

Fees and Charges:  

No fee shall be charged to or collected from any person under the age of twelve.

Twenty ($20.00) dollars per person per season provided that application is made to the proper authorities on or before the cut-off date of May 15 of each year.

Twenty five ($25.00) dollars per person per season in the event that application is made to the proper authorities subsequent to the cut-off date of May 15th of each year and for the remainder of the bathing season.

Ten ($10.00) dollars per person per week for any week or fractional part thereof of the bathing season. Weekly badges shall be valid from Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to the following Saturday (eight {8} days later) at 5:00 p.m.

Five ($5.00) dollars per day for a daily bathing privilege subsequent to the City observed day for Memorial Day. 

Beach fees are not refundable.



Active Military and Veterans tags are available at the Beach Tag Office, 300 JFK Boulevard, during normal operating hours

Beach tags may be provided at a 100% discount to qualifying Active Military personnel and Veterans of the following branches of Service: United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, as well as members of the United States Coast Guard and the New Jersey National Guard. 


Active Military:

--Military personnel, spouse/civil union partner, and dependent children age 12-years and older.

--Qualifying Active Military personnel must be present at the time of request.

--DD1173 (Identification and Privilege Card) must be presented.



--Any individual who has served and was released through Honorable Discharge with at least 90 days active duty or released from active duty by reason of a service incurred injury or disability.

--Qualifying Veteran must be present at the time of request.

--DD214 (discharge papers) must be presented.

PLEASE NOTE: Active military and Veteran beach tags are not transferrable.
